Pastor Boyd was born and raised in Newport News, VA. He served honorable in the U.S. Marines and is a veteran of the Vietnam war. He received a Bachelor Degree and went on to obtain a Masters Degree in Biblical Studies from Carolina University of Theology. He has been married to his wife for over 50 years. Together they have five adult children, a host of grand and great-grand children. He is dedicated to ministering the gospel and being a witness for Jesus Christ.
